Speculation on book cover and how it pertains to Bella's SURE transformation.?

Jacob wouldn't be able to stand the smell of vampire, and why would he imprint on a dead person? Plus I think his imprint would probably be human at least. A vampire/human baby would probably still stink to him. And I have similar thoughts to Meggy's theory about the pawn and queen, that it represents the struggle.
