Where did Greek mythology start?

I mean, who was the very first "Greek God?"....sorry I'm not sure how to put this question but.... I'm just really interested in the mythological line of story....ie: how did Hades come in the picture, how was the world created (in greek mythology)...did it stand on a pillar that existed in the underworld? thanks for answers =)
