Boyfriend with suspended license driving my car and backed into a car. Will my insurance still cover damages?

If my boyfriend is getting his license reinstated this week, will it matter? (He just has to pay court fees) Will they be able to see it was suspended at time of accident? Should I tell insurance I don't know my friend's last name who was driving so he doesn't get in trouble? Frustrated b/c driver behind me in parking garage was in total blind spot and was trying to make others back up so he could get our space. Feel like he should have honked when he was watching us back up towards his car. It was almost like he wanted us to hit him. Need to call insurance company back and panicking.
