It sounds to me like you should probably move on. First of all, if she is hot and cold like that now and you're not in a relationship, whats to say that she wouldn't be like that if you guys were dating. Second of all, I don't want to sound hurtful, but take it from a females perspective; based on what you're saying she is not into you. Based on what you have said it sounds like she seldom contacts you which likely means that she is only messaging you when she is bored with the relationship she is currently in or there is trouble. Then when everything is ok again she disappears. It's not worth the trouble and if you keep trying to get with her all you will do is scare her. Shell start to believe you're obsessed.
