High Baritone, or Low Tenor?

I used to think I was in Tenor. Then I thought that I was in Baritone. I feel like I'm right smack in the middle between the two, which is pretty inconvenient since I can't hit the high notes of a tenor, or the low notes of a Baritone. Is there a name for that? Also, is there a way I could widen my range? We don't really have enough money for a vocal coach or anything like that... Anyways, thanks!
