Has anyone had a hysterectomy done through the . If so what did you think of it and the recovery?

I just had to respond to Joseph. You have no idea what you are talking about. l hysterectomies are much easier to recover from than abdominal. The pain is minimal, and can be managed without narcotics, once you are home from the hospital. Recovery takes about six weeks, but it's really just a matter of not lifting, pushing or pulling anything during that time. I felt great within days, and just needed an afternoon nap for the first few weeks. By the end of six weeks, I was walking 4 miles a day, and headed back to the gym as soon as I got the o.k. from my doctor. I have no regrets!
