Good bars in san fran?

Not really sure just got here. But i can tell you about the few bars i have went to. Club Delux in the Height and Ashbury district was real cool. Every friday and sat night they have jazz bands and the like play for free. Plus there's alot to do in that area in general. Tonight went to the house of shields on new montgomery and thought it pretty good. Other than that haven't seen much of the bar scene. I've been looking for a "strip" or a area where there's a bunch of bars centered around each other. If anyone reads this and knows of an area like that let me know.
